The Triad Version Digital Iridoscope is an extremely reliable tool for iridological, dermatological, and trichological analysis. Specifically designed for research purposes and professional use, this device integrates high-resolution digital camera technology with advanced microscopy elements, providing full support for iridological and dermatological examinations. With a 12-megapixel resolution, the Iridoscope captures high-quality images and, thanks to the integrated lens with up to 30X magnification and built-in halogen illumination, it also functions as a microscope.
The lighting system is self-calibrating, optimized for prolonged exposure times, and equipped with a manual focusing mechanism using a rotating ring, specifically designed for this type of lens. Mainly used by iridologists, naturopaths, and healthcare professionals, the Iridoscope is ideal for detailed examination of the iris disk and sclera of the patient, ensuring high precision.

Scientific Foundations
The iris is the most highly specialized nervous organ; it consists of the most developed nervous tissue. “By treating the iris, one acts on the most sensitive organ of the body, which functions as a finely tuned receiving station, a high-frequency station constantly receiving messages from all parts of the body.” (Bernard Jensen)
Iridology (also known as iris diagnosis) is a science that, through signs or markings present in the eye’s iris, makes it possible to identify conditions reflecting the state of bodily organs.
To fully understand this diagnostic method, one must understand its philosophy. Iridology has been verified through clinical methods; one of its main proponents was Dr. Bernard Jensen, who used X-rays, stool tests, and other scientific methods to confirm his diagnoses, observing thousands of irises during his professional career.
The young Peczely observed the healing process in the iris of an owl’s eye and noticed how a black spot that appeared when he accidentally broke its leg started to disappear, leaving a white mark as a sign of full recovery.
In that moment, Peczely accidentally discovered the connection between the iris and different organs of the human body. This incident marked the beginning of a science that would help many people around the world. The event that occurred that day stayed with Peczely forever.
In 1866, he began his medical practice in Budapest, and during his hospital studies, he had the opportunity to observe the eyes of thousands of patients who had experienced accidents, amputations, and other traumas, noting how such events manifested as signs or spots in the iris.
Dr. Ignatz Von Peczely was the first to create a map of the iris and to publish a book on the subject, titled “Discoveries in the Realm of Nature and the Art of Healing.”
How Does the Digital Iridoscope Work?
The iridoscope is a device designed to capture the colors, lights, and shadows reflected in the iris. To allow the sensor to detect colors, filters are used to separate the scene’s colors into red, green, and blue (RGB).
Today, iridoscopes connect to any computer as a peripheral (via a USB port), allowing the capture of “static scenes” through three exposures, in color or black and white mode. These devices work by accumulating an electric charge in each cell of the matrix, known as a pixel.
One megapixel (Mpx) corresponds to one million pixels. The term megapixel (or single unit) is usually used to indicate the resolution of digital camera images. The number of megapixels in a camera determines the size of photos that can be taken and the quality of prints that can be made.
The iridoscope offers the iridologist or specialist the ability to capture static images of the iris with a high level of detail, allowing the presentation and printing of captured images in ultra-high definition, ensuring more accurate and professional analyses.
Once connected to the computer, the iridoscope allows scanning or patient evaluation by placing the sensor or lens on the edge of the patient’s eye and viewing high-resolution images of the iris on the monitor.
